Netflix is testing its cheapest plan in India, where viewers will pay on a weekly basis. Weekly plan for mobile-only plan starts from Rs 65 and goes all the way up to 200 rupees for an ultra plan. Currently, this scheme is exclusive to India only.

The new schemes have started showing on Netflix India website. You pay 65 rupees per week for a mobile-only plan, Rs 125 for the basic plan (SD only), Rs 165 for the standard plan (two devices, HD) and ultra plan (four devices, 4K) for Rs 200 can do. Netflix is testing a mobile plan of Rs 250 only per month in India, which can be viewed in the Planning section. Mobile-plan allows users to view content on a single screen at a time that should be a smartphone or tablet. This plan also limits the quality of SD and you will not be able to see the show in HD or 4K.
Weekly-plans were started showing only on Saturdays and before this Netflix was considered to experiment with the scheme. If you count on a monthly basis, plans are not necessarily inexpensive, but it only facilitates payment when you want to see something, effectively offer content at a lower cost.
